Fly Fisherman
For hours and hours the data,
On flies he has read.
Their colors, habits and motions,
And how fish to them are led.
His hands are nimble and skillful,
As threads and feathers he ties.
To create a whole tackle box,
Filled with all kinds of flies.
Now out in the wide open spaces,
The long whipping casts he makes.
Hoping the fish will not notice,
The real flies from the fakes.
His art matches Mother Nature,
As fish after fish bites.
The great outdoors he enjoys,
Both the fishing and the sights.
