Little Boy
A baby boy was bundled,
One fine winter’s day.
“We’ll go for an adventure”,
He heard his mother say.
He knew each trip with mommy,
Was different from those with dad.
He always went along quietly,
It was all the life he had.
With mom it was perfume or clothes,
With dad a gadget or tool.
He was learning gender skills,
Even before pre-school.
But most important of all,
His parents hold him dear.
He will grow up knowing,
Love is nothing for him to fear.
