Walt, The Fisherman



Walter Matthau did act the part,
In Grumpier Old Men.
But for our Walt the Fisherman,
That’s how he’s always been.

Away from things that irritate,
A fishing he does go.
To quietly sip his coffee,
And take things nice and slow.

The fish out in the lake do know,
How long to let him wait.
Until they finally come around,
And take away his bait.

Someday he may have the luck,
To catch a lady who.
That when he goes out fishing,
She will go out too.
